Who ate all the pies? I did! Couldn’t resist, straight from the oven at R Carter & Son in Bamburgh

It’s been another fantastic week for food, I’m in no danger of going hungry on this trip that’s for sure! As my journey took me from the North East coast, through Hull and East Yorkshire and on to Cumbria and the Lakes, I have sampled some of the finest local produce I’ve ever come across.

From pork pies to Michelin star tasting menus, every mouthful was a delicious reminder of the diverse menu our country has to offer! Here are some of this week’s highlights…

I wonder what next week’s menu will consist of? I’ve been a bit spoilt this week so maybe I need to rustle up a few dishes in the camper van, any suggestions? Bear in mind I only have two hobs and a grill!
